Michael Palascak

Michael Palascak (Pal-a-sack) grew up in the small town of Wabash, Indiana and began his comedy career in Chicago.  His stand-up is clean, original, and funny.  On this past season of Last Comic Standing, Roseanne Barr called Michael, "a wonderful comic" and said that his "delivery was fantastic."  Keenan Ivory Wayans described Michael's comedy as "very sly, young, kind of dude-ish humor."  Norm Macdonald loved that Michael seemed authentic onstage to who he was offstage.  In his set, Michael makes fun of both the important and unimportant things-- his parents, his way-too-honest girlfriend,  Spirit Airlines, and T-Mobile.

He began his network television career with performances on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno within six months of each other.  His résumé has since grown to include two appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, a half-hour special on the inaugural season of Comedy Central’s The Half Hour, and advancing to the Top 5 of NBC's Last Comic Standing.   In addition, Rooftop Comedy released Michael’s debut comedy album Job Opening to the digital and audio world.  Michael would like to thank his family, friends, and Sam Howard for all their love, support, and for reading all the way to the end of his bio even though they already know him.

Bill Brady and Harry Hickstein

Bill Brady and Harry Hickstein

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Bill Brady was the seventh of ten children. Counting parents, grandma and an aunt, there were fourteen in all to round out the "Original Brady Bunch." Bill relates that he has always been on stage, being one of such a large family he had to be, in order to be heard or fed.

Specializing in an interactive show, Bill excels at ad-lib situations; his warmth, humor and entertaining style build a solid rapport with his audiences, as an opening act, emcee or headliner ! His fresh approach leaves his audiences laughing and coming back for more.

Bill's mission on stage is to make your special event a memorable experience to be treasured for years to come. Be it a simple birthday, engagement, first date, or his famous bachelorette "interview," it will be a night to remember. Bill has performed his act in many venues such as comedy clubs, casinos, corporate shows, cruise ships, TV shows, radio, colleges, festivals and for a wide array of charitable organizations from Muscular Dystrophy, Easter Seals and many other local causes and fundraisers.

Bill founded his own show in 1977 and has been hosting Bill Brady's Comedy Capers ever since. In June of 2010, Bill celebrated his 33rd year of hosting Bill Brady's Comedy Capers at Senese's Barrel of Laughs, the longest running comedy show in the Midwest !

Bill Brady's Website

When he walks onto stage, his audience can’t decide if he’s a member of Hell’s Angels, a mob enforcer, or a tough member of the teamsters ready to keep everybody in line. The mystery is very quickly solved when “Mr. Big Stuff” launches into his routine and his audience roars with laughter and realizes he’s just a big teddy bear.

A twenty year veteran, Harry Hickstein is clearly one of the most dynamic comedians working today. His ability to adlib and work off his audience while remaining hilariously funny, makes him a favorite at clubs, theaters, private events, colleges and corporate events everywhere.

Harry’s act combines the use of props and audience participation. His “take” on things we can all relate to will have you holding your sides, your grandmother’s sides or even the stranger sitting next to you. (You’re completely on your own with the stranger)

Harry, a fan favorite everywhere he performs, always receives rave reviews from audiences and the press alike. After seeing Harry's act, one reporter’s review said "He wasn’t just an act, but an EVENT!”

Rob Holloway

Rob Holloway

Originally from North Carolina, Rob exudes warmth and Southern like-ability. A maestro of sound effects and dead-on impressions of celebrities and characters, Rob creates a show that is full of energy and a delight to watch. An evening with him is an evening you’ll never forget.

Rob started his brand of comedy in 1985 while still in the United States Air Force at Edwards Air Force Base. He did talent shows on base as well as travel to Los Angeles to work the local clubs there. It was the height of comedy in the 80’s so it was a great time to start doing stand-up. Rob was lucky enough to be the opening act for Richard Pryor, Andrew “Dice” Clay, and Sam Kinison, among others.

After living in L.A. a few years, Rob moved to New York City working clubs like the Improv, Catch a Rising Star, and Caroline’s. Once in N.Y.C. he was able to get comedy T.V. credits such as Comedy at Caroline’s, Comedy at Club 54, Nightshift, Comedy Live in New York City, and Mad TV. During all of this he was honing all of his skills and was a favorite opener for acts like Bob Nelson, Bobby Collins, Jim Carrey, and Tommy Davidson.

Rob’s comedy influences include: Richard Pryor, Rich Little, Robin Williams, Bill Murray and Phil Hartman.

Rob has traveled all over the U.S. as well as Europe performing his brand of in-your-face, high-energy comedy. His energy is infectious as he sets the show to a laughing frenzy of impressions, singing, and improvisation. Every one of his live performances vary slightly but are always consistent……they’re FUNNY!

Rob’s creativity shows in his performances. He has attended Second City Improv Theater Company—a theater that has a history of producing great improv actors such as Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and John Belushi, among others. Second City has improvisational training, sketch comedy development, scene work expansion, singing improv, instruction, and character improvement classes.

Rob Holloway’s comedy is for people who expect more meat on the comedy bone. Hilarious stand-up interspersed with right-on/non augmented sound effects and dead-on impersonations keep audiences clamoring for more. Rob’s high-energy style has not subsided even after 20 years on the comedy circuit and he’s been sharing stages with known greats since his very start.

Charlie Wiener

Charlie Wiener has headlined comedy clubs across the United States and Canada for more than a quarter of a century. In that time he has appeared at Zanie's in Chicago, Nashville, St. Charles and Mount Vernon, The Looney Bin in Little Rock, Wichita, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Goodnight's in Raleigh, The Admiral Theater in Bremerton, Wa., The Improv, Catch a Rising Star in Reno, Providence, Princeton, NJ and Atlantic City, The Riviera and The Plaza in Las Vegas, Loonee's in Colorado Springs and Laff's in Tucson and Albequerque.

He has shared the stage with Ellen Degeneres, Bobcat Goldthwait, George Lopez, Gordon Lightfoot, Randy Newman, Todd Rundgren, Meatloaf, America, Jefferson Starship as well as many, many others. He has performed in forty-six states and half of Canada, driving almost two million miles and aging himself by a multiple of six. He is old, broke down and in pain which he bitches about most of the time but that's the way old people are!

Charlie finds there is nothing funnier than everyday life - especially his. His subject matter ranges from travel to politics, road rage to stupid people, fatherhood to marriage, marriage to marriage to relationships back to marriage around the corner to sex (and lack thereof), then cutting through the alley of dealing with customer service into the bright white light of homosexual relationships onto the highway of love. Yes, it's high energy, fast paced and extremely hilarious. Those who have witnessed a Wiener show vow they will be back if they are still among the living.

For more than forty years in music and comedy, Charlie has proven himself to be the consummate entertainer and one of the most requested stand-up comedians working the road.

Larry (Uncle Lar) Reeb

8:00 PM20:00

Larry (Uncle Lar) Reeb

Known as Uncle Lar', Larry Reeb is the wise-cracking black sheep, politically incorrect relative everyone knows. Like any concerned relative Uncle Lar' wants to help. So in his own twisted way he does. He gives you "tips". Uncle Lar' offers tips on everything from marriage to lotteries to children. Always topping them off with, "That's a tip from your Uncle Lar'."

Reeb is a strong, distinct, classic character, with sarcastic attitude and a sardonic wit. He conveys his concepts with rapid fire one liners. "It's a sick world and I'm a happy guy", Reeb proudly announces after stating his particularly twisted observations. Reeb didn't invent obscene phone calls or adultery, but he makes his living talking about them. In a perfect world Uncle Lar' would be unemployed.

Where others cringe, Reeb thrives. His sharp wit was custom built to handle hecklers. During a performance a regretful drunk once shouted "talk about sex." Larry retorted, "your parents shouldn't have had it", and of course capped it with, "that another tip from your Uncle Lar'."

Uncle Lar' is a regular on "The Bob & Tom Show", syndicated in over 100 markets. Larry has been voted Chicago Comedian of the Year, and has made numerous television and radio appearances.

His tips are tops. His inflections infectious. And the fans are fanatics. Reeb's cult-like clan can't get enough. Whether he's headlining comedy clubs, colleges or conventions, his wit is universally appealing. Relatively speaking, everyone travels from everywhere to see their Uncle Lar'.

Ticket price - $16.00.  Call 815.223.5085 to purchase tickets and for table reservations.  Minimum age is 21 years old.

Performing since 2001, Carone is no stranger to the comedy circuit. Since his early days, Carone has toured the country and shared the stage with funny-man powerhouses such as Pablo Francisco, Dave Attell, Bobby Slayton, John Pinette, Greg Proops, Kathleen Madigan, Jim Gaffigan, Jon Witherspoon, Charlie Murphy, Jamie Kennedy and Tommy Davidson. Years of finding his comedic voice while ranting and complaining on stages across the country culminated in his 2007 debut stand-up DVD “Now Will You Wear a Condom”. His ability to rattle off more material in one show than most could do in a weekend is what keeps the crowd engaged during his verbal assault. Known for his fast-talking, quick-witted, over-the-top rants and a dominating stage presence, Carone refuses to relent until he steps off the stage. Katrina Brown

Dubbed “The Weird One” by her step-father, Katrina has spent her life living up to that nickname.  With her metal head and potpourri of physical oddities, there is no shortage of material for her to draw from. As the youngest of seven children, Katrina found that cultivating an obnoxious and loud personality was a way to not get lost in the shuffle.

Add in a marriage to a Sasquatch, mother of two boys, and this woman has found a lot to say. She’ll say the things you wish you were bold enough to.  She has no filter when it comes to keeping her material real, relatable, and honest. Mixing material everyone can relate to in with her own bizarre reality of being a “Mutant” misfit of society, Katrina’s experiences as a wife, mother, aging woman, Pop Culture Addict, and ‘proof nature likes practical jokes’ keep audiences of every adult age and demographic in stitches.  Simply put? This woman is fearless and fierce.

From colleges to comedy clubs, various “Animal Lodge” shows to fund raisers and charity events, Katrina has been touring for years through OH, WV, KY, MD, IN, IL, TN, ND, WI… and the list goes on.  Local spots for NE Ohio’s PBS station, & performing Stand-Up for“Laugh Out Loud St. Louis” round out her ever-growing resume as an Entertainer.

Bryan Cork

Bryan Cork

Bryan was born in Georgia. He would like to tell you he was born on the back of a melon truck, or while his parents were squirrel hunting. But then you wouldn’t be reading this because he would have his own version of ‘Duck Dynasty’ and he would be a big reality star. Unfortunately, it was nothing quite as exotic as that. Bryan was born in a military hospital because his Dad was in the Army. They soon moved back to the suburbs of Chicago where his formative years were spent.

Bryan’s started his journey in to comedy early. His distinct memories of watching the ‘Red Skelton Show’ while his Dad left for bowling left a strong impression on him. He knew that was what he wanted to do when he grew up. But that wish got sidetracked a little as Bryan detoured in to acting. Not the big time Hollywood version, but the more pedestrian Chicago version. He scratched out a living playing everything from Big Bird, costume and all, to the disgruntled customer at the dry cleaners, in industrial films and commercials. Shakespeare it was not. He spent twelve years doing appearances as the Amazing Spider-Man for Marvel comics. He wore spandex for a living, his parents were proud. Eventually he realized that his time as a superhero was limited. So that, and six glorious weeks of marriage, left him divorced, and convinced that all this experience must be useful somehow. He grabbed on to stand up comedy, and now we are all the better for it.

Bryan worked his way up through the comedy clubs and to finally headlining top clubs all across the country. Now he tours the country sharing his unique brand of clean humor and clever stories about deer hunting, tech support, and how Pictionary can ruin Thanksgiving. He will leave you, and your audience roaring with laughter. Not to mention, Bryan claims scientific research has shown that his show will lower your cholesterol, whiten your teeth, and make your children anxious to help with chores around the house.

While a favorite among female audiences, her natural, honest sense of humor also greatly appeals to men. Her brash confidence is offset by her infectious laugh infused throughout her act. Nathan Allen "The Maniac of Magic"

Part magician, part comedian and totally dysfunctional - Nathan Allen performs a highly-caffeinated blend of magic and comedy!  Yes, Nathan Allen is a magician, but don’t be fooled – you will see NO tuxedo and NO sparkly boxes in this show. Instead, Nathan combines his twisted sense of humor, sleight-of-hand magic skills, and hilarious audience participation into one of the very few magic shows on the face of the planet that is both geared for adults AND funny.
The best trick up Nathan’s sleeve is his ability to connect with a crowd, and it’s a trick he can pull off whether he is at a corporate event, comedy club or biker bar. With a knack for being naughty and tons of fun, Nathan’s personality-driven performances have been described as “Edgy, funny comedy and magic at its best!” (Naturally Funny Entertainment; Chicago, IL), “Funny, fast-moving, unique, and very entertaining!” (Vetesnik Power Sports; Richland Center, WI), and “Action packed, funny, and unpredictable!” (Iowa Emergency Management Association; Des Moines, IA).
He has appeared on international television on TV3, broadcast from the United Kingdom, and has been seen here in the USA on NBCABC, and PBS television news programs. And yet, in a typical example of his priorities, he insists that he is most proud of being elected Class Clown.

John P. Hopkins

John P. Hopkins has been making people laugh for over 25 years and it’s been his great pleasure. In addition to his flawless sleight-of-hand he also incorporates juggling, ventriloquism, pick-pocket,  and audience participation with lots of laughs to craft a performance not to be missed.

“I started out life with every hope of becoming a normal human being but then the magic bug hit and there was no looking back. I began to preform  tricks for anyone who would sit still. Early on I discovered that I had a talent for making people laugh. That was a big deal because if they’re laughing they can’t watch too close and the whole thing became a lot of fun. While in college I worked as a bartender and did tricks behind the bar for tips. One night an old guy came in and I fooled him very badly with a trick involving his ring. His was very impressed and asked me if I would teach him said trick, this lead to a interesting talk . It turns out that this guy had been a pick-pocket back in the thirties when he was a young man.The long and short of it is that I taught him the trick and he taught me how to pick pockets—it was one of the better trades i’ve made.  This was only the first in a number of encounters with some very interesting people, I’ve met a lot of magicians, comics, ventriloquists and card cheats in my life and learned some very interesting things along the way. It’s all been great fun.”

John has been fooling people and making them laugh both on stage and up close for over twenty-five years. A very popular performer with clubs,  corporations and colleges; his talents have taken him to every state in the union.

Christine Stedman

Christine Stedman

Christine can best be described as one funny mother! She is a widow and has a twenty-something son who lives at home, a divorced daughter and three grand-kids. This gives her a full portfolio of material to draw from. A lot of people ask Chris why she began a career in comedy so late in life. Well, it’s not a coincidence that she started immediately after her daughter began having babies! Chris does not like to baby-sit! Sure, traveling around the country telling jokes to drunks in smoky nightclubs was not the most practical way to get out of baby-sitting, but she decided it was definitely worth a try. (It was either that, or go to truck-driving school and she hates the way she looks in flannel shirts! ) So far, this desperate attempt to distance herself from family obligations has worked out quite nicely. She’s come a long way from her early years in comedy. She currently headlines in some of the top clubs in the country and has become a favorite at “The Comedy Stop” in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. In 2006, she was chosen to compete in Nick at Nite’s Search for the Funniest Mom in America. She appeared in six episodes and made it all the way to the finale where it came down to only 5 finalists. Okay, so she didn’t win... but, just ask anyone who has seen her perform and they will tell you that she is definitely one funny mother!

Matt Holt

Matt Holt is the youngest of eight kids. No, his family is not Catholic. They do drink, swear and gamble…they just don't believe in repenting for it!

The story of his life begins with the good fortune of being raised by humorous parents and being surrounded with a wonderful cast of misfits, felons and fugitives who just happen to be related to him. Who could ask for more?

The next chapter of Matt's life sees him working for a major telecommunications company. He survived fifteen years in Corporate America before throwing his hands up to surrender.

Some people are bad with remembering people’s names or with fractions, Matt is bad with marriages and relationships. At a young age, in need of various small appliances and an assortment of picture frames, Matt entered into the blissful institution of marriage.

The bliss lasted for a few months, the marriage lasted nine years. It ended with the division of everything he owned and the addition of a beautiful daughter.

Since the first marriage went so well, Matt figured; “Why not give it another shot?”. STRIKE TWO! This time around, the marriage train lasted 5 years before it pulled into the station. Now, with what would appear to be one quarter of the possessions he once owned, Matt embarks on the next step in his quest for relationship happiness.

The scars, shadows and memories of his past have not been forgotten. It is from this grounded but chaotic life history that Matt has developed and honed his comedic sensibility. He bases his humor on these experiences and never misses an opportunity to laugh at himself and the world around him. Audiences appreciate Matt's quick, razor-sharp wit and his relaxed style.

His fresh approach not only leaves them laughing in the aisles, but hopefully a little bit wiser!

Along with the popularity and respect Mark has earned over the years, his tours have taken him to many different venues. Comedy clubs, Colleges, Casinos, Corporate Functions and Cruise Ships have all welcomed him back time and time again. Best of all, his PG-17 sense of humor offends no one, and entertains everyone!
