Demo Day

You can now TRY OUT A BOWLING BALL before you buy one.  It is possible with Ebonite's patented process of interchangeable thumb and finger grips.  We fit the demo ball to your hand and let you see the reaction for yourself.  By attending Demo Day hosted by the Super Bowl's Pro Shop, you can test drive the latest and greatest bowling balls from Ebonite, Columbia 300, Track and Hammer.  If you are serious about your game, you need to be here Saturday, November 4, 2017. 

Squad times are 12:00 noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.  You MUST pre-register to participate.  To sign up, contact Jim Stubler at 815.223.5085.

All new bowling balls are not yet released.  We will update as soon as confirmed.

Raisin Open Version 15.0

The men's and women's annual senior tournament open to all bowlers age 50 years and older as of March 1, 2016 that are regular league bowlers at Illinois Valley Super Bowl.  

Squad times: 11:00 a.m, 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Entry fee - $25.00

700 Club Tournament

All participants must be members of the Illinois Valley USBC Association and a regular member of a sanctioned league at the Super Bowl.

$500.00 to "The Survivor."  Tournament limited to the first 48 entries.  Entry fee is $60.00 and close at 12:00 midnight Friday, December 9, 2016.  Tournament is limited to the first 48 entries.  Optional $5.00 and $10.00 brackets - handicap and scratch!  Handicap is 80% of 225 average.

Serving more than 3,300 students in the Illinois Valley Area

Peru – are you ready to bowl?  Help bring Junior Achievement to more schools and students in your community.  Here's how you do it!

  1. Recruit a team of 5 bowlers.  (You plus 4 others.)  Parent permission form for minors.
  2. Set a fundraising goal of $300 or more per team.  Your team is an essential part to the success of JA's mission.  Team pledges are used to cover the cost of programs in the Illinois Valley area schools.  We ask every team to reach its minimum pledge of $300 so we can fulfill educators' requests for JA programs.  Click here for fun ideas to raise money.  You can even generate donations online.  Click here to learn how.
  3. Complete the online registration form below to reserve your lanes.  Or, download the registration form here.
  4. Deposit your team pledges at Heartland Bank and Trust Company.  Click here for additional banking details.

Walter T. Elliott Tournament

The annual Walter T. Elliott Tournament is experiencing a format overhaul.  The singles tournament features a challenging oil condition and requires the use of a plastic ball.  There will be a four game qualifying round followed by match play.  Cash prizes will be awarded to winners.

"Bowling for Boobs" Fundraiser

In support of breast cancer awareness month, we are hosting a fundraiser called "Bowling for Boobs."  The event is $20.00 per person and includes 3 games of  9 Pin No-Tap (a 9 pin count scores as a STRIKE).  There are jackpots, 50/50, prizes, optional costumes and a whole lot of FUN!  Proceeds from the event are donated locally.

Walter T. Elliott Christmas Classic

Walter T. Elliott and his band of wandering minstrels proudly present the 17th annual 3 person Baker System classic.  The Baker System is a team format where more than one bowler comprises the score of one game.  The order is set at the beginning of the match. It has three (3) players bowling one (1) game – one (1) line, instead of three (3) players all bowling the same frame at the same time.  

Rules:

  • Each team is to consist of three (3) players – men, women or mixed.
  • Bowlers will use their highest average as of December 1, 2014 – 21 games or more.  Bowlers that have not bowled 21 games or more this year may use their 2013 - 2014 season’s highest average – 21 games or more.  All others will bowl scratch.
  • The handicap will be 90% of the difference of the combined averages divided by 3 and 230.
  • Bowler may cash more than once.  They must change at least one player for each team that they cash.
  • Prize ratio is 1:8.  Prize money returned 100%.  Entry fee $12 per person.  Prize fund – $8.00.  Bowling and Expense – $4.00.  `SAME DAY PAYOUT!
  • Squad times are 10:30 a.m.; 11:15 a.m.; 12:00 noon; 12:45 p.m. 1:30 p.m.; 2:15 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
